Dr. Becky Rucker

Dr Becky Rucker is a Board Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapist and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound and is the owner of Physio Performance.

Dr. Becky is known for her keen eye in movement analysis.  She uses this skill for injury rehabilitation, sports performance, and strength and conditioning work.   She has a broad background in fitness management including barbell, kettlebell, and Pilates work.  This wide skill set allows her to work with a variety of clients, including high level athletes, addressing both stability issues and higher level strength work.   She is able to assess and break down your fitness or everyday movements to get to the source of your pain and improve your overall performance.  Dr. Becky provides the highest quality care for her clients including: movement analysis, hands-on work, individualized exercise programming, and client education.

Dr. Isaiah LeReau

Dr. Isaiah LeReau

Dr. Isaiah LeReau graduated from the University of Puget Sound Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program.  He uses a holistic approach when treating clients and is a firm believer in meeting people where they are at in the rehabilitation process to maximize functional potential. Treatments are catered towards current status and personalized functional goals. To Isaiah, every session serves as an opportunity to provide education and resources for clients to have the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Isaiah has played contact sports for 15 years, including collegiate lacrosse, football, and basketball.  These skills have made him passionate about addressing biomechanics and performance for athletes and all individuals seeking improvement in movement and function.

Dr. Vichar Phonkumnerdsub

Dr. Vichar, a passionate and dedicated physical therapist, was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, he developed a deep love for sports and outdoor activities, which ultimately led him to pursue a career in physical therapy. He earned his B.S. in Kinesiology from Washington State University, where his fascination with the mechanics of human movement began to take shape. Determined to deepen his expertise, he went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from The University of Puget Sound, graduating as a new healthcare professional eager to make an impact.

Dr. Vichar approaches physical therapy with a dynamic, holistic philosophy. He believes that true healing and performance enhancement go beyond just physical recovery. By considering the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, and environmental aspects of each individual, Dr. Vichar’s approach helps his patients restore balance and return to optimal health. With a particular passion for working with athletes, Dr. Vichar’s training and enthusiasm empower him to guide them back to their favorite sports or activities, while ensuring they stay injury-free and continue to thrive.

Recently married to his college sweetheart, Kristi, Dr. Vichar shares his life with her and their playful corgi, Rambo. In his free time, he enjoys staying active through hybrid training, a combination of strength and endurance workouts, as well as snowboarding, paddleboarding, and enjoying live music events.

As a new graduate, Dr. Vichar brings fresh energy and a patient-centered approach to his work. His enthusiasm for helping individuals heal, especially athletes, along with his focus on overall well-being, makes him a trusted and caring professional in the field of physical therapy.

Maggie Chang

Maggie Chang, PTA

Maggie is a licensed physical therapy assistant and strength coach at Vie Athletics.  

Maggie grew up in the PNW with a passion for all things sports. She grew up playing soccer and basketball before picking up climbing in college. She also enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and surfing. 

Maggie has a passion for empowering women in the fitness world.  She also enjoys sharing her love for the outdoors and fitness lifestyle with the CrossFit community. 

In rehab, Maggie believes that movement is medicine.  She creates fitness-forward programs that combine hands-on work with individual exercise prescriptions.  Maggie also understands that no two humans are the same, especially when it comes to energy, nutrition, and hydration.  Therefore, every rehab session is designed to meet you where you are in your season of life while making it fun, active and rewarding.

Kass Savage, Office Manager

Kassara “Kass” Savage, Office Manager

Kassara Savage — better known as Kass — brings a unique blend of operational expertise, people-focused service, and a deep passion for health and fitness to our team. With over a decade of experience supporting executives, managing complex operations, and creating exceptional client and candidate experiences, Kass is known for her organization, attention to detail, and ability to make systems run smoothly behind the scenes.

Before joining our team, Kass spent many years working in recruiting operations and corporate communications, where she supported senior leadership, coordinated high-level hiring processes, and built efficient systems that helped organizations scale. She’s passionate about creating seamless experiences for the people she works with and takes pride in making every interaction feel welcoming and well cared for.

In addition to her administrative expertise, Kass is also a strength coach at Vie Athletics and has a strong personal interest in fitness and performance. She’s excited to step into the physical therapy space, continue learning about the body, and help support the incredible work happening in our clinic every day.

Outside of work, Kass stays busy with her husband Justin and their three kids — London, Parker, and Skyler — who are her whole world. Whether she’s chasing adventures with her family, staying active, or working on her latest diamond art project, Kass loves finding creative and meaningful ways to spend her time.

Breinne Zuhlke, Business Development Director

Breinne brings over 10 years of experience in strategic marketing communications and leadership to her role at Physio, where she leads many of our newest initiatives. Breinne’s multi-faceted contributions include supporting the physical therapy team with administrative tasks and nurturing relationships to managing our media presence and assisting with strength classes.

A natural problem-solver and dedicated helper, Breinne is deeply committed to delivering exceptional service to both clients and colleagues. She excels in mentoring teams, driving process improvements, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the organization. Her strategic vision and expertise help streamline operations and enhance overall team performance.

In addition to her marketing and leadership experience, Breinne is a Certified Health Coach and is one of the newest Strength Coaches at Vie Athletics Tacoma. Her passion for mind-body therapies fuels her ongoing exploration of mental and physical health healing techniques, which she integrates into her work and personal life.

Outside of the office, Breinne can be found running with her bird dog, teaching group fitness classes, or participating in hot yoga and strength training. An avid outdoors enthusiast, she enjoys hiking, fly fishing, and camping with her husband, Jeff. Breinne also loves watching sports, discovering local coffee shops, and curling up with an inspiring book.

Joey Hannant, Strength Coach

Joey Hannant, Strength Coach

Joey brings decades of high-level strength and performance experience to the coaching floor. Over the course of his career, he has worked with everyone from youth athletes to Division I collegiate programs and professional fitness environments, helping individuals build strength, resilience, and long-term performance.

Before joining our team, Joey held leadership roles in strength and conditioning at multiple universities, including serving as Director of Strength & Conditioning and later Associate Athletic Director for Athletic Performance at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. He also worked within the football program at UCLA, where he oversaw performance nutrition and supported athlete development through data-driven training, body composition monitoring, and individualized fueling strategies.

Joey has also led and mentored large teams of coaches in the private sector, including management roles with Equinox, where he helped develop personal trainers and oversee high-performing training departments.

In addition to coaching, Joey currently works with the Wounded Warrior Project, helping veterans improve their health and performance through personalized wellness coaching and education.

Joey holds a Master’s degree in Health, Exercise, and Sport Science from The Citadel and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Western Illinois University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and has additional training in Functional Movement Systems and Precision Nutrition.

Outside of the gym, Joey loves staying active outdoors — hiking, biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, and enjoying winter sports like skiing and snowboarding. He’s also a self-proclaimed nerd who enjoys a good book, museum visit, or documentary.

Brian Womac, Strength Coach

Brian Womac brings years of experience in strength, performance, and wellness coaching to the gym floor. Since 2018, he has worked with individuals of all fitness levels, helping clients build strength, improve movement, and achieve long-term health and performance goals. In 2025, he stepped into his role as Wellness & Fitness Center Director for the FAA, overseeing fitness programming, wellness initiatives, and client-centered coaching in a corporate wellness setting.

Brian’s coaching philosophy takes a holistic approach and is rooted in evidence-based training, progressive overload, proper movement mechanics. He emphasizes developing strong, high-quality movement patterns as a foundation before increasing intensity, helping clients train safely, prevent injuries, and create sustainable lifestyle changes.

He specializes in strength training, hypertrophy and bodybuilding, corrective exercise, functional training, and injury prevention. Brian has also competed in bodybuilding and trained in multiple martial arts disciplines, including Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai, and Wrestling, which have shaped his disciplined and technical approach to training.

Brian is completing his Bachelor of Science in Health & Human Performance (Exercise Science) at Eastern Oregon University and is preparing to earn his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential. He holds NFPT Certified Personal Trainer and NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist certifications, and is CPR/AED certified through the American Red Cross.

Originally from Burien, Washington, Brian enjoys hiking, swimming, and snowboarding, and stays busy with his wife, their two young boys, and their Bernese Mountain Dog.
